That regime is only of benefit when those calories are made up of foods that are strictly proteins and fats (i.e. LITTLE OR NO CARBS). Combine this with a multivitamin 4 times a day, and some chromium picolinate and you will be losing weight the most efficient way possible. keep it up val dr carbie

Sounds like you want to be weak and faint.  1,000 is low especially if your going to do exercise.  You may slow your metabolism down and your body if it’s not getting enough energy may start to catobolize (eat it’s self).  Most people lose lean body mass when going on a low cal diet and exercising like that. Why not look at various eating plans and chose one that is right for you. You have a lot of news groups so why not ask around about different diets? Remember what ever you do to lose weight you must do to maintain weight lose.
